About Fortune

For well over three decades, Fortune has regularly packed venues throughout New England. With a reputation for smooth three and four part vocal harmonies, dynamic and melodic textures of multiple guitars and keyboards, and tight rhythm section, they are the embodiment of the music and artists that define Classic Rock. A Fortune show always features the type of songs that “bands don’t try to cover” such as Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, Foreplay/Longtime by Boston, or Won’t Get Fooled again by The Who, as well as many others ranging from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to Journey and Yes! The band also has two albums of original compositions – 1993’s FORTUNE and 1996’s STORYLINE, both originally released in Japan.

Over the years, Fortune has been privileged to open for national acts such as Cheap Trick, Kansas, Dave Mason, Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Robin Trower, Bad Company, Blue Oyster Cult, The Guess Who, Ben Orr, America, and Jefferson Starship. More recently, Fortune was called to open for Kansas for the fourth time over the past decade.

Fortune is: Bob Vose, Lead vocals; Bill Plourde, Guitar; Chris Lester, Guitar; Steve Baker, Keyboards; Lou Spagnola, Bass; Dickie Paris; Drums

About the Dark Desert Eagles

For fans of The Eagles who long for the LIVE re-creation of some of the greatest hits of a generation, the Dark Desert Eagles are the ULTIMATE Tribute to The Eagles! Songs from the best-selling Greatest Hits album of all time (Eagles Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975) along with hits from Hotel California, as well as several gems from Joe Walsh’s solo career are masterfully re-created during a live show of the Dark Desert Eagles. Buckle up and get ready to enjoy a stunning musical tribute to America’s Greatest Rock Band in the peak of their career!

Touched by the passing of Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey, Pat Badger (an original member of the multi-platinum rock act Extreme) set out to form the Dark Desert Eagles.   Badger is an enormous fan of The Eagles’ musicianship, vocal harmonies and timeless catalog. Having toured the world with Extreme, and having been a part of a group that sold over 10 million records featuring Top 10 hits like Hole Hearted and the Number 1 Grammy nominated smash hit More Than Words, Pat Badger had a vision for the types of musicians he would need to create the ultimate tribute to The Eagles.

“But just pulling off the music is just part of it.” Badger says, “We really want to bring the audience back in time to the 70s! The image is almost as important as the music and we have really payed attention to detail on the wardrobe, the hairstyles, the guitars… everything that made the Eagles so cool!” He goes on to say, “We’re not just pretending to be the Eagles, we are the Dark Desert Eagles who are the self-proclaimed World’s Greatest Eagles Tribute band from 1977! We have traveled through time to the present day and when the house lights go down, the audience finds themselves in a Twilight Zone episode meets Back To The Future… It’s a blast!”

About Draw the Line

It doesn’t get more authentic than this… period!

Draw the Line – the “Officially Endorsed Aerosmith Tribute Show” – originating near Boston Massachusetts, the same as Aerosmith themselves. Established in 1991, Draw the Line has been touring for more than 30 years spanning the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe. DTL has played over 3,000 shows to sold out Audiences of up to 20,000 people. From MGM Grand Arena Las Vegas,  to festivals throughout the USA, plus many legendary theaters, casinos, and cruise ships, Draw the Line is the standard for tribute shows.

During a January 1998 radio interview, Aerosmith Lead Singer Steven Tyler singled out Draw the Line as the best of the Aerosmith tribute bands. With disc jockey Nik Carter adding, ” I’ve seen Draw the Line. They are Aerosmith!!” DTL has been featured in international fanzines, Boston Globe, Boston Herald and other newspapers across the country. DTL has been featured on MTV and AXSTV World’s Greatest Tribute Bands as the best Aerosmith tribute show.

They are the only tribute band that has been featured on Aerosmith’s website as well as their Aero Force One official fan club. With support and accolades from Aerosmith themselves, as well as journalists, top DJs, and fans worldwide, it’s no wonder Draw the Line is recognized as a one-of-its-kind. “ A professional show band in a league of their own amongst tribute acts and of a caliber that is unparalleled in the tribute genre”, says Joe Reardon, reporter for the Mariner newspaper group.

Aerosmith members have been known to appear at DTL shows over the years, with original founding Aerosmith member Ray Tabano frequently jamming with them – you never know who you’ll see at a DTL show!

Draw the Line features lead vocalist Neill Byrnes, a true Steven Tyler doppelgänger . Neill won a Steven Tyler lookalike contest during Aerosmith’s Pump tour, which would end up kickstarting his 30 plus year career as Steven Tyler. He has appeared on talk shows, tv commercials, done voice overs and movies. He recently appeared in the 2020 Lynyrd Skynyrd biopic “Street Survivors” as Steven Tyler.

Draw the Line, in addition to Neill, boasts some incredibly talented musicians completing the Aerosmith line-up:

  • Mark Cherone (Joe Perry)

  • Jim Dennis (Brad Whitford)

  • Barry Johnson (Tom Hamilton)

  • John Myslinski (Joey Kramer)

Together, these five talented musicians perfectly recreate the sound, energy, and vibe of an Aerosmith concert; if you love Aerosmith, this is a show you Don’t Wanna Miss!
