About the Band

With countless tunes you know from the first note, rip-roaring gigs you can count on, and a whole lot of energy you’ll take home with you, BoDeans continue to contribute to the American songbook as a tried-and-true institution. Founded and led by original frontman, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Kurt Neumann, the band’s catalog consists of generational anthems such as “Good Things,” You Don’t Get Much,” “Idaho,” and “Closer To Free,” just to name a few. However, they still reflect the soul and spirit of the modern American experience on their fourteenth full-length offering, 4 The Last Time.

“The music of BoDeans has defined much of my life,” muses Kurt. “I consider myself fortunate to be able to do what I enjoy. I wanted to creatively do something positive for the world instead of just taking from it. So, this is what I’ve chosen to do with my life. The music was always about the blue-collar dream of a better life, and it still is.”

BoDeans emerged out of Waukesha, WI in 1986 with the seminal debut, Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams, produced by T Bone Burnett.  Following Outside Looking In [1987], Home [1989], and Black and White [1991], Go Slow Down [1993] yielded “Closer To Free,” which famously served as the theme song for the smash hit television series Party of Five. With a sought-after discography, their music landed hundreds of television and film placements. Meanwhile, they transformed into a proven live phenomenon by supporting the likes of U2, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, The Pretenders, and David Bowie in addition to gracing the bills of Farm Aid, Summerfest, and ACL. Speaking to the group’s legacy, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame permanently entrenched BoDeans in the Midwest Artists exhibit. Most recently, 2017’s Thirteen arrived to widespread acclaim from The Chicago Tribune and Glide Magazine who spotlighted the music’s “understated grace—an attribute that no doubt fuels the steadfast approach Kurt Neumann has employed of his thirty-plus years as a ‘BoDean’.” Along the way, NETFLIX’s The Ranch also utilized over 70 tunes from Kurt, and he launched his own podcast Staring At The World.

About Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room

Guitarist Barry Goudreau, formerly of Boston, recently announced the release of his new CD, “The Road” from his band Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room. Barry’s blues/rock ensemble includes his former RTZ bandmates Brian Maes on lead vocals and keyboards, as well as Tim Archibald on bass. Both Maes and Archibald were members of Peter Wolf’s House Party Five, playing on two of his records and touring the world extensively. The band is rounded out with “Old” Tony DePietro on drums and Mary Beth Maes, Terri O’Soro and Joanie Cicatelli on background vocals. Expect some favorites like “Smokin” and “Long Time” in their live set, alongside songs from the new CD as well as tracks from “Full Steam Ahead”, the 2017 release from Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room.

Produced by Brian Maes, “The Road” features songs written by Goudreau, Maes, Archibald and DePietro, with the sole exception of “The Rhythm Won’t Stop”, penned by Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau. Goudreau calls it “Contemporary classic rock”, an apt description of songs like “Love Will Lead The Way”, “Word To The Wise” and the power ballad “Shade”–songs inspired the iconic music of the great rock bands of the 70s and beyond.

The Engine Room’s 2017 CD Full Steam Ahead” covers the whole spectrum of blues and rock, from the stripped down blues of “All Mine” to the all out rock assault of “Need”. A longtime friend of Goudreau’s, legendary bluesman James Montgomery, sits in on harp for “Layin’ it Down {In Beantown}.” Barry says “I wanted to look back to the acts of the late sixties and early seventies when they were reinventing the blues in new and exciting ways”. The record was produced by Maes in his studio with Goudreau recording the guitar tracks in his own home studio.

About Johnny A

The name ‘Johnny A.’ might not be so mainstream, but there’s no doubt that it’s synonymous with guitar.

His passion began at the age of thirteen, when he first saw the Beatles in Boston, followed two years later by an in-person witnessing of Jimi Hendrix. From there, he was hooked, getting a cheap beginner guitar to try and play along with his early heroes — which also included Yardbirds icons Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.
Soon enough, Johnny A. got it.

By the 1970’s, he was forming bands in the New England area, drawing attention from several established musicians, like Derek and the Dominos’ keyboardist Bobby Whitlock and Doug Clifford of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Johnny A. became Music Director of J. Geils Band singer Peter Wolf’s outfit, coordinating the onstage arrangements, playing on several tours and co-producing Wolf’s 1996 album, *Long Line.* What’s more, he was even asked to join The Yardbirds as their lead guitarist in 2015.

All this is to say that Johnny A. has the chops, and that’s not to mention his prolific solo career. Spanning three full-length albums, Johnny A. has earned a Grammy Award nomination, the honor of Boston Music Awards, “Blues Artist of the Year 2010,” and a spot in the revered Boston Music Hall of Fame. Ever the restless spirit, Johnny A. continues to glide across genres effortlessly, exploring elements of jazz, soul. He still fervently carries on the tradition of the legends he respected as a teen.

Johnny A. is a Fender Custom, Gibson Custom, and Epiphone Guitar “Signature” Artist.

Johnny has toured extensively throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Major festival performances include: Fuji Rock (Japan), Leverkusen Jazztage (Germany), Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, SF Jazz, and others.

If you hear someone mention “Tom Petty Tribute Band”, and you think blonde wigs or dyed blonde hair and a mediocre-at-best vocal performance, then you haven’t been to a Breakers show.

The Breakers are a no frills rock band who meticulously encompass the Tom Petty sound and musically establish an emotional connection with the crowd that’s palpable. When asked why they didn’t take the impersonation and prop-driven approach, founder Tom Smith says “we wanted to approach the tribute genre as a true live band, and in (lead vocalist) Chris Chartier we have what no one else has – the most genuine sounding Petty experience in the country.”

The members of the Breakers all come from a background of recording and touring with original bands and perform the music of The Heartbreakers with the same passion and dedication. They have paid tireless attention to detail to each and every song which appeals to both casual and diehard Tom Petty fans alike. Since the fall of 2018 when Tom Smith, Chris Chartier, Evan Smith, Rick Hiller, Tom Booth and Steve George joined forces, they have been practicing and honing their sound. In May 2019, they posted a homemade video compilation to YouTube which in just a few months had over 12k views.

Debuting the band in August of 2019 in Newport RI to an emotional and packed house, the Breakers proved to be the real deal. Their next show would be a sell out at the Narrows center for the arts in Fall River MA.

With only a handful of performances under their collective belt The Breakers were approached and signed exclusively with Blue Raven Entertainment and are currently booking venues through-out the US.

About Mighty Mystic

Mighty Mystic is considered as one of the leaders in the U.S. Reggae scene and labeled by many as one of the more prolific artists to develop outside of Jamaica. He has gripped the scene with ferocious conviction and an uncanny ambition worthy to be mentioned among the greats. He has gone from being a fan of reggae music to being a contributor to the art. Mighty Mystic came on the scene in 2006 after scoring his first international hit with the song “Riding on the Clouds.” However, it wasn’t until the release of his first album “Wake up the World” (2010) that he became a household name. “Wake up the World” boasted several standouts, such as “Revolution,” “Riding on the Clouds,” “Original Love,” and “Slipped Away” with appearances from reggae icon Shaggy and roots rocker Lutan Fyah. Mystic continues to wake up the world with his high energy, message driven brand of reggae music which he emphatically calls “HARD ROOTS.” It is this unique spin on classic reggae blended with Hip Hop & Rock that has catapulted him to the forefront of today’s Reggae Revival. Mighty Mystic is also the younger brother of current Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness. When asked, does being the brother of Prime Minister Holness have any impact on your music? Mystic simply says “Andrew has a job to do and so do I, impact or not we both have our own mission to complete”.

BulletBoys: The Original Lineup Returns, Ready for a Smooth New Chapter
Formed from the heart of the late ’80s Sunset Strip scene, BulletBoys quickly established themselves as a dynamic force in hard rock, delivering a blues-infused sound that set them apart from the pure glam metal pack. Now, after years of separate paths and various iterations, the gold-selling band is back with the lineup that started it all: Marq Torien, Mick Sweda, Lonnie Vencent, and Jimmy D’Anda. The band’s 1988 self-titled debut, featuring the massive hits “Smooth Up in Ya” and the O’Jays cover “For the Love of Money,” was a critical and commercial success. Albums like 1991’s Freakshow followed, showcasing their sophisticated blend of hard rock grit and undeniable groove. In the late 1990’s, after a career as a Deputy Sherriff in Maine, he traded in his badge for a microphone and went from York County to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. He quickly became a regular at Comic Strip Live, Stand-Up New York, Dangerfield’s, Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway and the New York Times called him, “Destined for stardom.” Juston would go on to sign sitcom development deals with Warner Brothers, CBS, IFC and Comedy Central.

He has appeared on numerous Comedy Central shows including his half-hour Comedy Central Presents special and his own one-hour special.  He has appeared several times on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien as well as a Showtime Comedy Special with Rob Gronkowski. He has appeared twice at Denis Leary’s, Comics Come Home at the TD Garden. His TV & movie credits include The King of Queens,100 Centre Street, The Zoo Keeper and Here Comes the Boom. He recently wrote and starred in the short film, Suck It Up, which screened at the NH Film Festival. About Lynch Mob

Lynch Mob was formed by George Lynch in 1989 after the breakup of Dokken, his long time band of which he was a founding member and main song writer. The band signed with Elektra Records, and immediately released “Wicked Sensation” which would go on to achieve gold status. The album received much critical and fan acclaim, and would pave the way for over a dozen records over the next 30+ years. The band is known for it’s high energy, guitar driven, hard rock vibe, while featuring elements of classic rock, blues, metal, with a propensity for improvisation. The current lineup features Lynch, along side of Jimmy D’Anda, Gabriel Colon, and Jaron Gulino. On drums, O.G. BULLETBOYS drummer Jimmy D’Anda brings the band an old school Dr Funkenstein funky, but heavy back beat. He’s also known for being the pie eating champion of Boyle Heights East Los Angeles 84’. Go Rough Riders! Gabriel Colón is a Puerto Rican singer who started his career with a band called Fast Taker. The band would go on to release a top 10 single in Puerto Rico’s rock radio market. Since arriving in the states, he has showcased his wide range of vocal talent with many rock acts including, Gothic Knights, Culprit, White Wizzard, and Rowan Robertson. New Jersey’s own Jaron Gulino brings the east coast attitude and energy. He has prospered in a long career as the bassist in a variety of bands, most notably post-grunge rock band Tantric. Gulino achieved chart topping success with multiple releases from Tantric, as well as performing on many high profile tours and events with numerous other acts. Lynch Mob plans on celebrating the legacy of an incredible history, with shows consisting of classic, career spanning material, as well as a heavy dose of Dokken material.
