About Every Breath You Take – A Tribute to Sting & The Police
Every Breath You Take: A Tribute to Sting & The Police delivers a dynamic, multi-media concert experience celebrating the groundbreaking music of one of rock’s most innovative and influential artists. With precision, passion, and authenticity, the show guides audiences through the explosive early punk-inspired era of The Police, the sophisticated evolution of their later albums, and the timeless hits of Sting’s solo career. The tribute began on a dare during a classic album night in New York City: “Can you perform The Police’s first album — start to finish?” Challenge accepted. The spark that became Every Breath You Take was born. Staying true to the original three-piece lineup, the band recreates the unmistakable reggae-infused, jazz-inspired, pop-rock fusion that turned Sting & The Police into global icons.
The Band:
- Mark Rinzel (of 80s tribute sensation Jessie’s Girl) delivers the rare combination of high-level bass mastery and the unmistakable vocal tone of 70s/80s-era Sting.
- Oscar Bautista, session and Broadway orchestra guitarist, reconstructs Andy Summers’ atmospheric soundscapes with precision, texture, and tone accuracy.
- Alan Camlet, producer/engineer and powerhouse drummer, channels the explosive creativity and rhythmic fire of Stewart Copeland.
Based in New York City, Every Breath You Take performs across the East Coast and nationwide. The show has also traveled internationally, including a run of soldout performances in Brazil, where fans packed clubs, theaters, and music venues to experience this world-class tribute.
Join Every Breath You Take: A Tribute to Sting & The Police for an unforgettable
