Note: Tickets for the original INDOOR comedy show at Blue Ocean Music Hall on Sept. 25th were refunded and are not eligible for entry to this outdoor show. Original ticket buyers must purchase a table of tickets to attend the Dinner + Laughs show.


As summer comes to a close, we all need a few laughs! Blue Ocean is pleased to present Comedian Juston McKinney for a limited seating, 90-minute dinner show on the outdoor oceanfront deck at SurfSide, located in the building adjacent to the music hall. A lot has changed for live performances over the past six months, and we ask that you read the following information and guidelines to ensure you know what is included in your table purchase, understand the safety standards regarding COVID-19, and have an enjoyable experience.


  • Table seating is sold in groups of 4 or 6. Purchase of the entire table is required. Tables are socially distanced, 6 ft. apart. Individual show tickets are not available.
  • Due to the State of Massachusetts COVID-19 safety standards requiring the purchase of food and beverage together, each show ticket includes a fee of $7 per person that includes an Appetizer Combo Platter for the entire table.
  • limited menu will also be available for optional purchase of additional food items from your server.
  • All seats are under our covered pavilion or a cabana.
  • The show is rain or shine.
  • Doors at Surfside will open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
  • All attendees must wear a mask to enter, exit and use the restrooms. Masks may only be removed while seated at your table.
  • Social distancing is required while entering SurfSide. Stay 6 feet apart from others and be sure to have your tickets ready to be scanned by Box Office staff upon arrival.
  • Show goers must remain seated at their table throughout the show. Guests are not permitted to stand anywhere or socialize at other tables.
  • Failure to follow these guidelines could result in removal from the premises.
  • Included in your ticket purchase price is an Appetizer Combo Platter that will be delivered to your table upon arrival and includes:
    • Warm Spinach and Artichoke Dip ~ Four cheese blend, artichoke hearts, spinach and roasted pimento, carrot and celery batonettes, tri color tortilla chips
    • Chicken Wings with Barbeque Sauce
    • Crispy Tater Tots ~ Applewood smoked bacon, queso cheese, scallions and creamy ranch
  • Guests at the table will have the option to purchase additional appetizers and sandwiches upon arrival.
  • Beverage service to accompany your food orders will be offered tableside by servers.
  • SurfSide is a seasonal restaurant and outdoor deck located adjacent to Blue Ocean Music Hall.
  • Guests are recommended to bring a sweater or jacket as the deck is located on the ocean and could be cool in the evening.
  • Tables are located under a covered, open air pavilion. Cabanas are also covered and located in the corners of the SurfSide deck.
  • Once the show has ended, remain seated until a staff member lets you know it is time for your table to exit. Tables will exit one at a time, 6 feet apart.
  • Social distancing will be required to enter restrooms and if a line forms you will be asked to use the restroom facility in the Blue Ocean Music Hall building, adjacent to SurfSide.
  • Exiting will be swift once the show has ended; patrons cannot linger at Surfside tables or cabanas.
  • All tables and restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected prior to admitting ticket holders for the later shows.


With multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, two Comedy Central specials, and two Amazon Prime specials, including his latest, Parentally Challenged, it’s no wonder the New York Times called Juston McKinney, “Destined for stardom.”

In the late 1990’s, after a career as a Deputy Sherriff in Maine, he traded in his badge for a microphone and went from York County to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. He quickly became a regular at Comic Strip Live, Stand-Up New York, Dangerfield’s, Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway and the New York Times called him, “Destined for stardom.” Juston would go on to sign sitcom development deals with Warner Brothers, CBS, IFC and Comedy Central.

He has appeared on numerous Comedy Central shows including his half-hour Comedy Central Presents special and his own one-hour special.  He has appeared several times on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien as well as a Showtime Comedy Special with Rob Gronkowski. He has appeared twice at Denis Leary’s, Comics Come Home at the TD Garden. His TV & movie credits include The King of Queens,100 Centre Street, The Zoo Keeper and Here Comes the Boom. He recently wrote and starred in the short film, Suck It Up, which screened at the NH Film Festival. He was awarded “Best Acting Performance.”
