About the Comedians

Jimmy Dunn (Conan, Letterman, etc.) will headline a night of great standup comedy to benefit the Brian Eldredge Memorial Skatepark in Amesbury, MA, which will also feature Boston magazine "Best of Boston" Comedian Lamont Price, Dave Rattigan (as heard on Sirius Satellite Radio), Amesbury's Mark Gallagher and Andrew Della Volpe. The evening will also feature raffles and a silent auction.

Jimmy Dunn is an actor and stand-up comedian from Boston who co-starred on the CBS comedy The McCarthys and has performed stand up on Conan and The Late Show with David Letterman. He got his start in the comedy world telling jokes at a bar in Gloucester, where he was paid in beer and fried clams. Since then, he has gone on to perform at the comedy industry's most prestigious events, including Denis Leary's Comics Come Home and Montreal's prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and he founded the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival. He is a writer/producer for the current season for the Peter Farrelly-Bobby Mort AT&T original comedy series Loudermilk. As an older, divorced dad with a young daughter,

Dave Rattigan has gained new perspective at the cost of sleep, patience and logical thought. That’s just one area the veteran Boston comedian covers in his act, which he’s performed at such diverse venues as the Cape Cod Melody Tent, Laugh Boston, Fenway Park, bowling alleys, M.I.T., The Square One Mall food court, hospitals, libraries, and office parks. His CD received airplay on Sirius Satellite Radio and other stations, and he’s acted in commercials and independent movies.

Lamont Price is one of Boston’s hottest talents. The host of the NBC Channel 10 Boston web series Lamont’s Boston was recently named “Boston’s Best Comedian” by Boston Magazine, a year after receiving the same honor from The Improper Bostonian. The former Comedy Central “Comedian to Watch” has appeared in Triumph the Insult Comic Dog's Election Special from Funny or Die, Funny or Die's Oddball Comedy Tour, and National Public Radio’s Bullseye with Jesse Thorn. Price is a regular at Boston Calling, the Boston Comedy Festival and the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival.

Amesbury's Mark Gallagher is one of the freshest and unique talents to hit the Boston scene. He's an edgy comedian and actor whose off-beat characters come to life in his one-man show (aptly titled "One Men Show") and standup routine. A regular at the Comedy Studio in Somerville, he's performed in the Boston Comedy Festival, NorthEast ComicCon, and in the 2019 Boston auditions for Comedy Central.

Andrew Della Volpe got his start working as an intern at Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four by Two Films while studying government at Colby College, and has never gone back to thoughts of a serious job. He performs on a near-nightly basis throughout New England and Boston, and became one of the fastest rising talents in the city. He’s performed at the legendary Nick’s Comedy Stop, The Comedy Scene at Patriot Place and South Boston’s Capo Supper Club.
